Are you a predator or are you prey?

Are you a predator or are you prey?

Are you a predator or prey?

Modern society is no different to the animal kingdom, there are predators and there are prey, which one are you.

If you are a predator, it doesn't necessarily mean that you will go around attacking people, what is means is that other predators will recognise you as such and look at you as someone not to attack, you are most correctly termed a warrior. So which one are you

Would you be able to defend yourself - Yes or No?
Do you have heightened awareness skills that allows you to avoid trouble long before it comes into your immediate vicinity - Yes or No?
Do you have a Deliberate Action Plan to deal with an attack against you - Yes or No?
Do you have an Immediate Action Plan to deal with a confrontation situation - Yes or No?

If you answered No to these questions you are PREY.

Do you appear fit enough to withstand and an attack and fight back- Yes or No??
Do you exhibit the confidence that come from knowing that if necessary you can defend yourself- Yes or No??
Have you been trained in the tactics of dealing with confrontation and aggression - Yes or No?
Do you have a Deliberate Action Plan to deal with an attack against you - Yes or No?
Do you have an Immediate Action Plan to deal with a confrontation situation - Yes or No?

If you answered YES to these questions you are the type of person that other Predators avoid.

The bad guys do not want to attack a warrior. The mugger, thug or rapist looks for an easy target. These people do not have any morals or honour. They don’t want to test their skills against someone who might be able to pound them into the ground. Just like any other predator, they prey on the weak. Therefore, by being in fit, by being able and prepared to defend yourself, the warrior is actually deterring and preventing an attack. As I said, no one in their right mind wants to tangle with a prepared warrior.

George Washington said, "Being prepared for war is one of the most effective means of maintaining peace."

So how do you become a warrior?

1. Get trained in self defence, martial or unarmed combat, whatever you want to call it.
2. Maintain your fitness - it's not all about technique, sometimes it's a case of the strong survive.
3. May sure the training deals with the psychology of confrontation.
4. Have a Deliberate and Immediate Action plan.

Or you could do what a lot of prey do - nothing and hope that it will never happen to you. Many prey even take that attitude when all the warning signs are pre-attack indicators are present, they tell themselves, this is not happening, if I ignore what's happening, it will go away, sadly in many cases it doesn't go away and prey is assaulted, robbed, injured or worse.

DON'T BE PREY, BE THE WARRIOR.
