Bushido CRT2010: report.
Yes the weather was better than 2008 and 2009, and yes of course it rained. As usual training commenced on Thursday night at Jamisontown and then continued from Friday to Monday at Colo Heights. Despite the rain the training continued regardless. One the highlights of this years CRT was the new Assault Course that required speed, endurance, strength and knowledge to make it through. Steve Stockton was the fastest by 1 minute or one question depending on how you look at it. See below for a link to the map. Rather than a lengthy report, please enjoy the slide show. It is enough to say that all of the CRT 2010 participants trained hard from the start until the end on Monday afternoon. By Monday afternoon the CRT combatants were looking tired, worn out and well trained. Training finished around 3pm and after a short time to get themselves together the presentation of well earned belts was made followed by the presentation of the Sword of Bushido to Lyndal Field who was judged as being the most outstanding participant on Bushido CRT2010 and Steve Stockton awarded the new Kyoshi's Award for always outstanding training, dedication and contribution to Bukido Kai. Well done to all of those who attended and trained so hard at Bushido CRT2010, I have to say that the spirit of 'one camp', 'one system', 'one Bukido Kai' that I saw through out this CRT camp was the best I have seen in many years. Watching the participants train and give 100% reminded me of years gone by, with everyone focused on training and learning, I am already looking forward to Bushido CRT2011. The following promotions were made as a result of CRT2010 George Lohman: Yondan (Rensei). Well done to one and all. Below Bushido CRT2010, participants & Instructors.
